Healthy kids, healthy adults

"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the prevalence of obesity in the United States has increased drastically over the past 20 years. Now, more than one-third of children and two-thirds of adults across the country are either overweight or obese. Major factors that contribute to the epidemic of overweight and obesity in this country are poor diet and physical inactivity which is why the new 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans now more strongly emphasizes decreased calorie intake and increased physical activity."
